Stretching 160 miles through Utah, the Wasatch Range makes a rugged, glacial backdrop for the 85% of the states population living within 15 miles. Mount Nebo is highest at 11,928 feet, but the peaks around Alta and Park City are most popular. "The greatest snow on earth" falls on these spectacular slopes. Lone Peaks granite outcrops provide top climbing. Canyons and valleys are loved by fly-fishermen and hikers. After all that adventure, retire to a hip restaurant or enticing hot tub in chic Park City.

An excellent area for hiking.
I think this is one of the most beautiful hikes I’ve ever been on. The leaves are turning in early Oct and they look like their blazing on fire. Only a few people on the trail. A steep climb but worth every step. Consider carefully if your afraid of heights as the trail is narrow with deep drop offs. Breathtaking views ,waterfalls and lake.

Wow, a Saturday morning drive on the Guardsman Pass between Park city and Salt Lake City is definitely an adventure. The beauty is incredible. The curves, cliffs and bikers make it very challenging but fun. Lots of pull offs, hikers and bikers.

Fall colors here were magnificent. Especially the aspen and the bigtooth maples. Highly recommend this drive during the week on a clear fall day.

Owned by Robert Redford and known for its film festival, Sundance is uncrowded and offers top-notch skiing and atmosphere.
My family attended the Full Moon chair lift ride on the full moon on Halloween! Not only was the view of the full moon fantastic (we were lucky to have clear skies and milder temperatures), but the overall theme of Halloween, haunts and spooks (actors, costumes, effects- like a haunted house) were absolutely mesmerizing, well done and completely fun and entertaining throughout the ride! We had reservations and dinner at The Foundry Grill prior and loved it! We can't wait to do it again, and are hopeful they will have that next year! ????????

Popular ski and snowboard resort area with plenty of varied terrain to accomodate all tastes and abilities.
We LOVE Beaver Mountain! We live in CA and have bought season passes for the past 10 years and ski during the Christmas holiday and then again for a week in February. We keep coming back due to the friendly staff who are willing to go the extra mile for you, the amazing snow and terrain, and the family-friendly environment that the resort creates and offers.

Recently took my granddaughter to SLC. We rode the giant tram to the top of Snowbird ski resort - the views were stunning. You can stay on top as long as you like and take the next tram down. LOTS of summer activities for kids and adults - she loved the Vertical Drop - it's a 9' free fall drop from a platform; also loved the alpine slide, the ropes course, the mountain coaster, bungee trampoline, rock wall, chair lift, and much more. We got there at 11 when they opened and didn't leave until 5 - we were both exhausted! GREAT day! Would highly recommend for a great day with the family!! Restaurants are available on site.
