I live what many consider an idyllic lifestyle on a narrowboat on England's inland waterways network. For the last five years, I have offered unique Discovery Days aboard my own traditionally designed canal boat, a 62' long, 22-tonne craft powered by a 1936 2 stroke Lister engine. I guide my guests on a seven-hour cruise through stunning Warwickshire countryside far away from the stresses and strains of modern day life. Guests are welcome to take the helm during the cruise.

Coronavirus - we're so sorry but we are closing for a few weeks to ensure safety. Hopefully back on the water soon! The best 1 hour sightseeing cruise in Stratford upon Avon!! We offer excellent sightseeing cruises and we're the only company to have a boat with a licensed bar, wonderful cream teas and a Live commentary by our own on-board guides. Our guides share the history - and the amusing unknown history - of Stratford & Shakespeare during your cruise. We're a family business that operates 365 days a year, river conditions permitting. We can also cater for private parties - birthdays, hen parties, anniversaries, Christmas, schools & coach groups - we do just about everything! Our cruises are popular with local residents and tourists alike.

The Leam Boat Centre is based in beautiful Jephson Gardens along the river in Leamington Town Centre. The park's old Victorian boathouse was renovated thirteen years ago as part of the Millennium Project and it is now a thriving centre of activity. It's a lovely place to come for a day out as a family; row boats, motor boats and pedalos can be hired as and when you arrive and floating along the river for a carefree, sunlit hour is a wonderful experience. For more adventurous visitors, canoes and kayaks are also available for hire. The Leam Boat Centre also gives lessons in canoeing and kayaking and can cater to all levels of experience, from taster sessions for beginners through to training courses for instructors. Paddle Power kayak courses are held throughout the holidays for children to get their first taste of the sport. It might turn into a lifelong passion!

Jump aboard the Jennifer May for a 40 minute boat trip. Relax on the river whilst enjoying a light hearted commentary. This informative and entertaining audio presentation focuses on Stratford's significant role in the Industrial revolution, along with a fresh insight into Shakespeare's Avon. An English and multilingual text version is also available as a free download. Jennifer May is the only sightseeing boat which is licensed to take passengers through the historic canal lock and onto the River Avon. She is a modern, fully accessible, passenger vessel with WC, wheelchair lift and baby changing facilities. Centrally heated during colder spells, Jennifer May has large glass panels in her roof and a fully removable window system to maximise your viewing experience in a comfortable all-weather environment. We travel hourly from the Stratford upon Avon Canal Basin and Jennifer May can also be chartered for business meetings and functions. Risk assessments and access statements are available on our website for schools and group bookings.
