Very carrying and compassionate staff, They helped us when we had to have Our Yorkie put to rest. We had him cremated and picked out a very lovely urn. I always have my precious cat Cody hurried in the pet cemetery, when you can't afford to have a plot.

Warren County Historical Society

Commonly referred to as the "Lebanon Museum" or "Warren County History Center", Harmon Museum is housed in historic Harmon Hall. This three story, 28,000-square-foot, building is home to Warren County related artifacts dating from prehistoric eras to the mid-20th century as well as temporary special exhibits. We have four new art galleries; a contemporary, folk, classic and exhibition gallery where we showcase the work of noted 20th and 21st Century Ohio artists. Our Shaker Gallery offers the second largest collection of Shaker artifacts in the country and our nationally recognized research library houses journals, trustee documents, written music, and agricultural notes as well as historical and genealogical records pertaining to Warren County Ohio. There is also ample free parking outside the museum's new handicap accessible main entrance, located at the rear of the building (accessible from South Street). The museum also has an elevator that runs to all floors.

What a gem this Historical Society’s museum is! Diverse subjects but very well done. If you enjoy the Shakers history, you are in for a special treat!

Glendower Historic Mansion and Arboretum

On a the hillside, nestled among the trees, sits Glendower Historic Mansion, Built ca. 1845 it was lived in until the 1940s. Over those 100 years, it served as a home to only three owners: a prosecuting attorney, a Union Civil War general and a rich socialite. Since then, the stately manor has served as a museum, providing a natural setting for many elegant furnishings and culturally significant artifacts from Warren County’s past. Noted as “one of the finest examples of Residential Greek Revival architecture style in the Midwest,” Glendower Mansion’s exterior features include Ionic and Doric columns, classic carved cornices and porticoes and a hipped roof with a captain’s walk. This elegant exterior is a popular backdrop for those looking to exchange their vows on the grounds. Our arboretum is cared for by our Master Gardeners.

Kings Island

The largest theme and water park in the U.S. Midwest offers more than 40 thrill rides including riding a tornado on "Delirium" and taking a white-knuckle ride on a runaway train.

Reviewed By Drbcoaster - Minneapolis, United States

This was my first time to Kings Island in well over a decade (Son of Beast was still there - loop intact), and my friend's first time ever. My goal this trip was to finally get a night ride on The Beast. It did not disappoint, though my older body was not as thrilled. It is a rough ride, no doubt. That aside, this is a really good park. Their Planet Snoopy area is touted as one of the best kid areas in any amusement park worldwide. They have a good collection of roller coasters - my favorites being The Beast, a wooden roller coaster that races off into the woods (still holds the record as the world's longest wooden roller coaster), Banshee, their new B&M inverted roller coaster, and Mystic Timbers, their newest coaster (as of 2019) which is a GCI wooden twister coaster. My only real complaint with Kings Island was the food. Many of the Cedar Fair parks have really upped their food game over the past few years - almost making the exorbitant prices worth it. For me, it feels like Kings Island is still a bit lacking in this area. The Miami River Brewhouse is pretty good, but it is just salad, burgers, and sandwiches for the most part. Granted, better than typical amusement park fare, but... not exactly "WOW" worthy. Even my small home park, Valleyfair, has started selling gourmet hot dogs from a local butcher, topped with exotic items like Kimchi, or lobster mac & cheese. They have roasted corn elote, Shrimp Po'Boys, Caribbean BBQ, etc. Kings Island needs to step it up.

Great Wolf Lodge

Reviewed By 840aprilp - Frankfort, United States

My husband and I took our three kids (ages 13, 12 and 7) here for two nights for a mini vacation. We had never been to Great Wolf Lodge before, but we’ll go back now!! While the price is a bit high, it’s an all inclusive package and we never ran out of things to do. The facilities are clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the Loose Moose Lodge was great. Pizza from the pizzeria was very tasty. The rooms have mini fridges and microwaves, so we took our own snacks and drinks. The Wolf pass was very much worth the $50 cost for each child. It allowed them so many activities and freebies. The MagiQuest was a series of adventures, so the kids played it off and in for two days. They also loved the glow in the dark mini-golf. My only suggestion for room for improvement is the fact that the beds are very firm. I like a little bit softer surface.
