Drakesbrook Dam

This place is a little gem! It’s the perfect place to bring the family and a picnic to spend the day playing in the water and relaxing. They have a pontoon for the kids to swim out and jump off, you can SUP here too (great place for beginners). You can also throw out a line and have a fish The water is very clear for those who like to see the bottom when swimming. They have a nice grass area and shade for you to set up for the day.

This place is absolutely beautiful, it’s such a shame people can’t respect property and they have stopped camping here as it’s a perfect place to relax and play around the water You can still access it for day use so make the most of it, SUP, kayak or just swim. Bring your own food and drinks though - there is a little shop nearby but otherwise bring your own stuff (just make sure you take your rubbish with you!!!!) It’s the perfect day out with the family

Langford Hill Riding Farm

Susannah was very helpful and informative of her horses and the surroundings, I had a fantastic 2 hours and enjoyed every minute, just hope I get to go again before returning to the UK. This is a great way to see wildlife too. Trip advisor questions do not take into account a persons ability or disability. Recommended length of visit would probably be down to ability but 2 hours was great for me. Question 1 is about families it would be best to contact the riding facility Question 3 riding hats and footwear are provided. Question 6 comfy trousers or stretch jeans. I thought this was good value for money
