President Franklin D. Roosevelt built his "Little White House" in Warm Springs, Georgia, in 1932 while serving as governor of New York.
Expect to stay at least an hour to see this fascinating bit of Georgia history. Enter at the museum- a movie shows often and it's worth the viewing. All real footage or the era. Then walk through the artifacts including the car that he engineered to be able to drive with hand controls. There is a stagecoach that has been beautifully restored by an Atlanta artist, a collection of his walking sticks, and the unfinished portrait of him along with a finished one. For those who enjoy a walk there is the 50 state flag walk. Travel down to the home and take a self guided tour. There is a state employee there in the home to answer any questions. He was very knowledgeable. The home is sparse but very interesting-all in all highly recommended!

Description of a warm-water hatchery where visitors can see how striped bass and sturgeon are raised.
I can't believe this place is free. It was incredible. We probably spent three hours there at least. The aquarium was pretty interesting, but the best part is the concrete pools and the area around the wooden walkway. We (me, wife, kids - 12, 11, 9) explored a while, went to pick up lunch, came back for a picnic, and explored some more. Feeding the fish was very fun, especially seeing those giant carp eating the tiny pellets. You'd think they wouldn't bother. Seeing the goldfish swarm around the pellets was neat too. Be sure to check the little tanks that are off to the right from the parking lot. There were lots of baby fish in there, and they'll nibble your fingertips. While we were there, the staff were cleaning out one of the large ponds and dumping the critters into one of the little tanks. It was full of various fish, huge tadpoles, small turtles, and crawfish. Don't miss this spot if you like nature and peace. Altogether, the 3+ hour experience cost us $2.50 -- that's what we spent on the feed pellets.

If you are out of shape, not used to hot weather or not a regular hiker this trail will surprise you. Most of the trail's interesting features are found within the first two miles (park at the Radio Station/transmission tower). Walking towards the falls on this well-maintained path is an easy, shaded trail for the first mile, but after that the trail becomes challenging with streams to cross and muddy paths to slog through. The return trip seemed especially trying as most of the path back to the parking area seemed to be uphill.

My wife and I are huge fans of winery’s and we found this one. The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The wine selection is amazing! Would highly recommend going! The White House, kudzu, and creme brûlée are amazing!

You can go into the pools and feel the water from a spring. You can also see the old bath house. Best to go to the Little White House first as it gives a better appreciation of the positivity of FDR. Lots to see and worth admission. The grounds are large. The docents are very nice and answer any question. Of interest, if you have trouble walking, they generously provide electric carts. You have to get out though, to tour the house.
