We did the pottery wheel taster at half term. It was brilliant and really reasonably priced at £7. Will definitely go again. We have in the past also painted off the shelf pottery and had a brilliant time with a nice cup of tea for mum!

Ware Museum

Reviewed By therichastill - Stevenage, United Kingdom

Ware Museum is in the High Street and quite visible as you drive down the street. It is currently open two days a week. When I arrived I was encouraged to check in using the Serco Track and Trace app which was not a problem. I was also asked for my details. Going round the museum there is a one way system so you can see everything on display and there are a number of staff in various rooms to tell you about what is on display. Even though the museum is small there is plenty to see and there were a few parties looking around when I went which was good to see. Social distancing was maintained throughout.

St Mary the Virgin

The St Mary Virgin Parish Church is located just on the edge of Ware town centre. It is set just away from the road which is good as it's a bit quieter so creates a very peaceful atmosphere. There are a few paths going through the churchyard which means there are a few people about but it is not too busy. A very tranquil place to encourage reflection.
