Wide open spaces with connected walking trails to Jells Park or Napier Park. It is designated 'Dog Friendly' Park with lots of room to run and some obstacles for the dogs to try - jump hurdles, ramps, stone castles and sand pit. The connecting paths are easily identified. The park has parking off Nortons Lane and a well appointed public toilet. There is unfortunately only one sheltered area for picnics, but it is large enough to cater for several groups. Melbourne Parks has certainly done a good job with this large open recreation area.

This trail wends its way from Ferntree Gully all the way to Jells Park where it joins the Dandenong Creek Trail. Such a fascinating place to walk; but keep an eye out for wayward cycle riders.

This is part of a network of inter-linked trails around the Dandenong Creek. Trails lead to either Jells Park, Napier Park or Nortons Park. Well frequented by walkers and bike riders seeking a challenge. Many bird species by day and possums at night. Another well maintained area by Melbourne Parks.
