The South Island of New Zealand's largest ski area, Treble Cone offers skiers and snowboarders 700m of vertical and four large basins. Known for its long and uncrowded groomed runs, outstanding off-piste terrain, stunning views and consistent snow, Treble Cone is a must-do experience for skiers and snowboarders.
We hiked in Summer - it was amazing. There was some poor weather in the morning so we were literally the only ones on the mountain. Which meant there was that lovely feeling of being alone - the only regret was the wind was so harsh at the top we didn't make it to the summit. I will be back to conquer it another time - rugged and beautiful with amazing views to Wanaka.
