Best place to shop for quality jewelry and the owners are the best and most knowledgeable of the products they sell. Bought a beautiful White Buffalo stone necklace at a very reasonable price.

While this area is best known for the Badlands NP and Wall Drugs, it is also located in some of the largest remaining grasslands in the US. This visitors center offers excellent exhibits and a great film on the importance and majesty of our nation’s remarkable treasure. The staff was very helpful and informative.

I’m such a tightwad. I browse Wall drug but this is where I spend my money. Native American made jewelry. Unusual and one of a kind sterling silver and stone settings. I come through Wall every year (I’m from Iowa) and I never miss stopping here. I go here to buy gifts for myself, grandkids and friends. Can’t beat the price. Tee shirts! I pick up the 3 for $10 deal. They’re good quality, just seemed to be overstock. My advice...Save your money and buy your gifts here at Buffalo they give away free bibles too!

For thirty years during the Cold War, the silo at Delta-09 held a Minuteman II missile at the ready to respond to a Soviet attack. Today, visitors can view a missile in the silo through a modern glass enclosure. Delta-09 is a unit of Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. The Visitor Center is located immediately north of I-90, exit 131. The Launch Control Facility Delta-01 is located ten miles east of Delta-09. (reservations required for tour) and the Delta-09 missile silo is fifteen miles west of the visitor center.
Just a short drive from Wall, free and self-guided, though you can call a number on your cell and get a recorded tour guide message. The area is very well maintained and shows how the missle command protected the US. I would say this is a must for anyone with 30 minutes to spare.

Reservations are needed for this visit and we made them a month in advance. The ranger was knowledgeable and excited about explaining how the facility worked and the kind of people who worked there. Unfortunately due to Covid, we were unable to see the underground facility, but we knew it ahead of time. Still interesting. There is a visitors center a few miles down the road.
