After a stop at Penmon Priory and dovecote ruins your 'toll' (£3 per car) allows access to the beach looking out over Trwyn Du Lighthouse. From here you can see Llandudno's Great Orme and Puffin Island. It's not a huge beach but great for a short amble and there is a small cafe. The £3 is definitely worth it (more for larger vehicles).

Great way to spend a few hours The steps down to the lighthouse offer spectacular views and with hosts on hand you get chance to spot the different birds flocking to the area The lighthouse is really interesting with a giddy climb to the top Well worth a visit

Nice views from this beach - a little windswept, and isolated. great for a reflective stroll. Kids liked paddling in the sea here..... well worth a visit.

Booked this location in December 2018 for December 2019 New Years Annual family get together and we weren’t disappointed . The scenic views were breath taking, the swimming pool ,sauna, jacuzzi bath was a real luxury. There was plenty of room for everyone well equipped spotlessly clean . Books and Jigsaws supplied . Lovely and warm really cosy in the nights. Coastal path to take dogs for a walk with once again amazing views watching the waves crashing against the cliffs. Dale not to far and about 20-25 mins from Haverfordwest if u felt like a little shopping. If we had any queries or requests Collette and the team went out of their way to assist us nothing was to much trouble for them considering it was New Year. We have made wonderful family memories at this location . Highly recommend and would defiantly return here

walk along the harbour wall will bring you to the lighthouse. Ample parking, with free car parking closer to the railway line. A small little park for the kids.

Burry Port is where Amelia Earhart landed after her solo flight across the Atlantic from Newfoundland. Burry Port harbour is a stirring sight with its odd, squat little red and white lighthouse and commanding views over the estuary. There is an east and west harbour - the west side takes you on to the sea wall towards the lighthouse and the east side to the beach and the memorial plaque to mark where Amelia Earhart came to shore after she landed. It's a nice place for a walk and if you're here at dusk the sunset can be stunning!
