The “lift” facial with Yuki was one of the BEST ever! She combines her skills as a massage therapist with her skills as an aesthetician to provide one of the finest facials I have ever had the pleasure to experience. Definitely a must to schedule next trip to Maui! Also a big “shout out” to Kailie who did my mani/pedi. Loved her calm demeanor and attention to detail. The surroundings and view were fantastic. I will definitely be back!

I was at the hotel wailea for a week for a super belated honeymoon and I took two individual aerial silks classes, and a couples mat yoga session and a couples aerial yoga session. Dre demonstrated a lot of versatility and flexibility with the different flows between the two couple’s sessions. The mat yoga was a much faster power vinyasa style (which I love and requested), and the aerial yoga was a lot slower and focused on deepening stretches and improving range of motion, and very relaxing/restorative. My husband reluctantly participated in both and was pleasantly surprised at the energy and relaxation it gave him. He especially liked the aerial yoga and laying in the hammock at the end haha. I had seen cirque du soleil a few years ago and been inspired to take an aerial silks class with a friend without much success, and hadn’t tried again since. I wanted to try it again and see how it would feel since I’ve been exercising regularly over the last two years. It was sooooooo much fun. Dre does a good job of breaking the moves down and practicing them in different ways before stringing a couple of them together. I appreciated the repetition and development of more muscle memory. Since I wasn’t there long, I wanted to learn more stuff rather than doing long combos of the moves we had learned, which she was very accommodating to. She explains the body physics of the moves really well, and gives assists at times just to show you how it’s supposed to feel. My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer and do a class every single days I was there ????. For anyone out there considering trying aerials silks, it’s really fun and challenging !!! For those less adventurous, anything taught by Dre will be great!

From the moment we stepped into the establishment we were welcomed in with big smiles. Carolyn was a sweetheart. Unfortunately, there was a scheduling error and one of the masseuses that was scheduled for my husband and my couple's massage was double-booked for the time slot we requested. Carolyn was super nice and apologetic and offered a time slot later that afternoon. We took our towels, hit the beach across the street and came back a little later. I had Barbara as my masseuse and boy was she great! I had probably the best massage I have ever received. My husband said that based on my review he wishes he requested Barbara as well. :) Overall, a very pleasant and wonderful experience. Would highly recommend!

Four of us are in Maui this week and had purchased a Groupon promo for a massages. The experience was great. Brittany was great on working with us to schedule all four of us at the same time and giving me recommendations on how to best enjoy our full spa experience. Even though it was a Groupon purchase, the staff didn't treat you differently like some places. All four massages were great and we left hardly able to walk, since we were so relaxed. Brittany and team, thank you very much for making our afternoon very special and relaxing.

My daughter and I have been coming to Spa Grande since it opened, most recently using the Hana Hou two-fer coupon in the Hawaiian Airlines magazine. This special typically offers an hour in the Terme baths, a loofah scrub, lunch or exercise classes, and a treatment (massage or facial). It's a great deal. We found the attendants helpful, friendly and filled with welcoming aloha. The baths had changed from salt-based to essential oils-based, and although we liked the salt baths better, the oils were fine. We noticed the rain showers were both out of order, and some of the lights flickered and needed changing, but the old gal still was elegant and comfortable. Many of the guests we spoke with were long time clients, and a number of the staff have been there 10 to 20+ years - that says something about management. It's a good gig. Melea provided a lovely facial and helpful information on calming down my rosacea. We were not hurried in the least, and were able to enjoy the hot tub, cold plunge, baths and Japanese showers after our treatment. There is also a sauna and steam room to enjoy. Do eat before you arrive, as snacks are limited to apples, flavored waters, and wheat based party mix and granola (caution for those with gluten sensitivities). An annoying shift over the years is more and more women are wearing bathing suits in the spa, which just doesn't seem right to me. Towels and robes are plentiful. There is a kamaiina rate for Hawaii residents for the Terme baths and pools.
