We went down for the Honeywell Centre Christmas open house. The building was decorated beautifully, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. It is such a majestic building inside. If you have never been to the Honeywell Centre I would highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this nice welcome center. Not your typical place that's just filled with tons of brochures and literature, but instead it also has a nice selection of local made products to purchase, helping to support their local businesses. What a wonderful idea! It's laid out more like a cute boutique shoppe. Great place to pick up a variety of local items. All the staff is exceptionally friendly--especially Katie Jones. Her passion and enthusiasm for Wabash County is so refreshing. Great gal! Well marked and easy to find, right in the heart of town. A must stop.

Wabash County Courthouse

Reviewed By FrankD834 - South Bend, United States

Wabash was the first town in the US that was lighted with electric street lamps. There is a Historic Marker on the Courthouse Square to commemorate it. There were 4 electric lights put at the top of the building that lit up the area (I'm assuming not very well). The top of the building has the light fixture (or a recreation) on it. I was not there at night, so I do not know if it lights up, but I assume that it does. There is a Lincoln Monument on the grounds and a little park across the street that has flags and a Wabash sign. On the other side of the property, there is a building with military memorials outside of it. It's a nice, historic area. It's one of the nicest Indiana Courthouses I have run across so far.

Nice for walking if you want exercise and is ideal for gatherings and group events. The chili cook off and relay for life events have been held there in the past. Alot of space and away from excessive amounts of traffic.
