Boutique del Tartufo is a shop located in the old town of Volterra, a wonderful medieval town in Tuscany Region, in Italy. Here you can buy and taste some truffle products. Really, if you are a gourmet or a truffle-lover, here you can taste and excellent quality products with truffle like a focaccia di pecorino e tartufo nero (focaccia with pecorino cheese and black teuffle) or a focaccia di funghi e tartufo bianco (focaccia with mushrooms and white truffle). alab'Arte

Reviewed By H4931YJadams - New York, United States

My wife and I had 2 objectives for visiting Volterra: Etruscan history and alabaster. When leaving the Etruscan Museum, we asked for directions to an alabaster shop and were directed right around the corner. We entered to find not just a shop, but a workshop where Roberto was hard at work on a commission. Upon entering he came over to greet us, introduced himself and spoke to us about different kinds of alabaster. We watched him as he worked on a piece and then browsed over the pieces for sale in the workshop. While we would have loved to buy a lamp, we were concerned about it breaking in transit. We ultimately settled on two vases/candlesticks and a small handful of smaller tealight holders. We highly recommend a visit to Alab Arte. It is worth a trip to Volterra.
