This lovely part of Novi Sad's pedestrian zone can surely be regarded as one of the symbols of this beautiful city. The fact that it has so many beautiful old buildings of different liveable colors and that it is so small and cozy makes it one of the city cites you simply have to visit. The street is always crowdy and it sometimes feels that it is the most important place in the capital of Vojvodina region. Dunavska street is most beautiful in spring, where all of the colors simply show off more. Don't miss it and don't just pass it by, take a minute and enjoy it!

Petrovaradin Fortress Serbian: Tvrđava Petrovaradin German: Festung Peterwardein Hungarian: Péterváradi vár Nicknamed: "Petrovaradinska tvrđava", "Đava", "Gibraltar on of the Danube", "Novi Sad Acropolis", "the last bastion of Christianity"... Petrovaradin Fortress is a fortress in the town of Petrovaradin, itself part of the City of Novi Sad, Serbia. It is located on the right bank of the Danube river. The cornerstone of the present-day southern part of the fortress was laid on 18 October 1692 by Charles Eugène de Croÿ. The fortress consists of five parts: 1. Upper Fortress - Heksagon 2. Lower fortress Suburbimum "Gradić", "Citadel", "Pentagon" with the Water City "Wasserstadt" 3. Island Fortress - Insel Shanze 4. Bridgehead - Brücke Shanze 5. Hornwerk What is behind her history is the biggest brand of Serbia is her underground, the famous Katakombe, actually a contram system consisting of about 1000 corridors, over 30 km, over 8 floors, over 27 floors and 4 lines of defense
The views from this fortress are amazing. This place is huge from the bottom walls to the top. There is a raod to the top so you can drive all the way up. There is a wonderful cafe/restaurant at the top when you can have a drink and just soak up the sights, the river is beautiful from this vantage point.

It's a beautiful town, beautiful sights, lovely restaurants, great food, lovely places for drinks, big big walks, etc. Everyone will enjoy! I would say that going on a big walk is not kids-friendly (toddlers and smaller children), there is traffic and not manybpedestrian roads.

The Petrovaradin clock is almost three centuries old Empress Maria Theresa donated the Petrovaradin clock around 1750. Although I have never been to Petrovaradin, the Empress worried about its construction, as well as the construction of the same Fortress
Recommended to visit. Beautiful view. Novi Sad is a beautiful city and there are many beautiful things to see.
