This tour, booked completely randomly, ended up being a really fun adventure.. Our guide, Alexander was personable and warm (and a careful driver). During the drive, he told us about the parts we drove through and made sure we were totally comfortable. This made for a pleasant drive. The castles themselves have something to offer to everybody: Nesvizh for the beauty of its rooms and grounds, Mir for its military artifacts and the history of the communities around the town. Bonus: Alexander showed us good spots for souvenirs.

Sergey is the best tour guide in Belarus. He is very friendly, makes you feel comfortable and speaks English. He calls you the day before to confirm and arrives at your hotel on time. He helps me find a PCR testing center in Minsk before my return flight to the US. He even brought me mushrooms and berries at the hotel. If you're going to be in Belarus, call Sergey to pick you up from the airport as well as use him as a tour guide to show you around. He is great!

Polotsk was founded in 862 and not only is it the oldest town in the country, it is one of the oldest in the whole Slavic region, making it a popular tourist attraction in Belarus. The town is located 250km north of Minsk in the Vitebsk region of Belarus. In its eventful history the town has endured Viking incursions from the north, fought against crusaders and had been occupied numerous times. Euphrosyne of PolotskPolotsk became the centre of Christianity during the first Russian state of Rus. The town was a birthplace for the first Belarusian canonized woman Euphrosyne of Polotsk. In the 10-13th centuries Polotsk was the centre of the powerful Polotsk Duchy. In 1307 the town became part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and became self-governing in 1498.

Communication with the company was great with quick responses and even checking in with me to see how my experience was going during the trip. The chauffeur arrived early which was great. There was some communication issues between my chauffeur and me, which was a little discouraging. The site says there was wifi, which wasn't the case for my trip. Each location was nice to visit, but with only 60 minutes at each site, I felt as if I was rushed and couldn't read all the information or learn about each site. This company did take the hassle out of trying to plan traveling to each location on my own, but I wouldn't consider them a sightseeing tour.
