What to do and see in Visby, Gotland: The Best Outdoor Activities
Visby is one of Scandinavia's preeminent medieval cities. Every August, it hosts its medieval week, complete with authentic dress, feasts and jousting. But you don’t need to visit Visby in August to get a sense of its medieval history. Just follow the cobblestone streets that wind throughout the city, take a tour of its Old Town and visit the 13th-century church. You certainly can’t miss the 13th-century wall that stretches three kilometers around the city and was once used as the city’s defense from intruders.

An guided half day cycle tour around the city of Visby and its impressive City Walls and then south of Visby to Fridhem, the summer residence of Princess Eugenie built in 1861. Lovely way to see part of the countryside, including a nature reserve and cliffs. Highly recommended

We rented a tandom from them which lasted us two days before getting a flat in the countryside. They picked the bike up within an hour and offered us a new one. As it was rainy we opted to take the bus back to Visby, but they gave us two regular 7 gear bikes to borrow overnight at no extra charge and let us return them to the ferry terminal the next morning :-) Really helpful and great service :-)
