For a small town the museum has a great selection of trains on view. All well described and presented and the museum is expanding further. Allow a couple of hours and 6.50euros well spent.

Can Papiol is a house-museum that evokes the daily life of a wealthy 19th century family through the ambiance of its rooms, which are decorated with original furniture and ornaments of their period. It was inaugurated as a museum in 1961. The most sumptuous part of the house is the main floor, which rooms preserve the richness of the refined taste of the 19th century; the music room, the billiard room and the large ballroom, are some of the most interesting and luxurious. The tour resumes through the rooms of the servants, the farming area and the garden. *All visits are guided. It is recommended to make a prior reservation on the website.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this wonderfully preserved family house. Our guide explained in an interesting and informative way. Well worth an hour of your time.

Where can you find a beach these days, in Spain, easily accessible, on foot, by bike or car and public transport, next to the gorgeous boulevard, with amenities like showers and toilets, plenty of space, a lovely gently sloping seabed, a volleyball field, and only 3 beach bars? It's here. The beach gets cleaned every day, and is simply a joy for a relaxed day, or just to pop out every day for an hour or so. My favourite beach!

This sculpture dominates the town's beach and is a popular spot for families, walkers, lovers and fishermen. The sculpture is set on a breakwater some metres into the sea. On a calm day you can easily visit it without getting wet. However, on a day when the sea is choppy it is a spectacular sight as waves break against the jetty and spray showers the sculpture. If you are taken in by the horns and imagine the creature depicted in the sculpture to be a bull (as many tourists do) you may be totally puzzled by the figure within the animal. However, the name of the sculpture gives the game away. It is called Pasiphaë. If you know your Greek mythology you will know that she was the wife of King Midas. The king upset the sea god Poseidon and for punishment the god made Pasiphaë fall madly in love with a spectacular white bull. The bull, however, was obviously not attracted to a human female. So, she had Daedalus (the inventor and father to Icarus) construct an artificial cow and hid herself inside it in order for her passion to be consummated. The resulting child of this brief encounter would be the minotaur. A combination of the abstract, the mythological and the figurative, the sculpture is well worth a visit.

The central pedestrian avenue which has many mid level stores including Zara, Mango, and Stradivarius to name a few. Lots of cafes, bars and people watching. Worth a visit.
