This is a beautiful park along the River Minho. It is a short day trip from Raxo, Vigo and other cities in Spain. It has everything from jungle gyms, to rock climbing walls to a splash pad area.

O pôr do sol é extraordinário.

The market is enormous, but there are only a dozen or less types of stalls, repeated many times, and nothing you can't find on any market anywhere, sometimes cheaper too.
Only on market day they charge for the car park on waste ground, and block off the free town car park.
From watching others it appears that haggling is normal. Like any market, people walk as though there isn't anyone else there and so going slowly is the best option.
I think the best thing about this market is the choice. Jeans were pretty much a similar price on all stalls, €5 to €25. However there was 12 stalls selling jeans so there was quite a range of styles and types. Same with shirts, pans and everything else. Much more choice than most markets.
If you want craft stuff and locally produced stuff you need to go into town where there are some amazing craft shops, a little bit more expensive but some amazing and beautiful stuff.

We made a couple of trips here on a summer holiday (July 2015) with our three teenage boys. The crazy golf was great and only 1€ each.
We also took a 2 hour trike tour along the new ecopista pathway along the river bank which was fantastic. The path now runs for about 20km I think. We also had a fun game of footy with some local Portuguese lads.
