Relax under the vines in the warmer months and cosy up by the fire indoors throughout winter. Picnic and BBQ facilities also available.
Fantastic place to spend a warm afternoon, sitting on the veranda enjoying sensational food and beautiful wine. The staff are knowledgeable and fun. Certainly worth the trip from Melbourne.

After having sampled the Malbec from St Ignatius previously, with the luscious choclate flavours, we had to stop at St Ignatius during our recent visit. The owner was fantatic and we had a great tasting while discussing the wines. We found the Chardonnay buttery smooth and the Torrontes amzingly intersting. We walked out with some 2015,2016 and 2017 Malbec and Cab Sav and the Torrentes and Chardonnay. Great experience. Thanks !

The gardens are a beautifully balanced restful place to enjoy sitting in the pavilion overlooking the pond or wandering the paths to the bottom of the garden. This garden really packs a lot of punch in a relatively small area. They pay homage to the chinese influence on the township and surrounding areas from gold rush times. The gardens are located in the old sale yards and remnants of the original fences are still there forming the boundary. For those looking for a longer stroll, the gardens are part of the "Avoca Chinese Gardens River Walk" which brings you to the nearby river and camping areas and playgrounds. Access is suitable for all abilities.
