We took advantage of the fact that these people let the kids hold the animals at their reptile parties. The reptile show was amazing and we even held rare Green Pythons, which no one else even has! The crew at Reptile Party went the extra mile to look after everyone at the birthday party event.

Today I took my daughter 5 years old to Funky Farm I didn’t really know what to expect but was blown away by how interactive our experience was. Chris our guide was so genuine and passionate about what he does and what impressed me is that they really only started the farm to assist kids with special needs, which they continue to do. This experience was genuine non commercialised which I love. You don’t need a cafe here bring your own snacks for the kids. Sunscreen, bug spray and sanitiser supplied. All of the animals are in their natural habitat, a great day out for everyone thanks Chris and fam ????

I had low expectations for what a zoo could offer in the grampians, however it was such an impressive zoo. There was such a range of animals, from pigs, monkeys, kangaroos, and giraffes. There is a map, which guides you through the zoo to ensure you see every animal. There is animal food sold at the entrance, so you are even able to feed free roaming deer, kangaroos and wallabies. I particularly liked the guineapigs, as there were so many of them, and lots of little babies.

Animal Land Children's Farm

Animal Land was originally established on 15th October 1985. Our Goals are to provide children a wonderful place to learn about farm animals. Animal land has been specifically set up to give children that real hands on farming experience. Children can only learn so much in the class room. Here they get to scratch, feel, smell and hear all the experiences of life on a farm. From the moment you arrive, you will be treated with that friendly country welcome. We started opening only in the last term of the year with a couple of kinders and schools. Now we have over 7500 visitors per annum. These include schools, kinders, playgoups, social groups, birthday parties, Christmas break ups and open days to the general public. Over the years there has been a lot of changes and we have plans for more. Check out some of the old and new photos we have found in the photo gallery. If you have any old animal land photos you would like to share with us drop us an email and we will include them.

Great for families too with lots of hands-on opportunities including a touch tank, a variety of dried items (fascinating), lots of info about whales and other marine life etc etc A 'must visit' when in Eden.
