I went with my niece, something I've always wanted to do, she was the only brave soul that was willing to go with me. Brad was my tandem partner and Tim was my nieces. Both of them were THE BEST EVER!!!!! From start to finish they were friendly, funny and very clear with their instructions! I was so happy to have had them and would definitely return! Thanks guys !!!!!

This is a growing entertainment complex with mini golf, go karts, a small zip line, arcade, and other attractions. There is a restaurant, bar, and ice cream bar. On this visit, we played mini golf and had ice cream. The golf course was appropriately challenging, well kept and maintained. The ice cream was better than average. Prices were fair for both mini golf and ice cream.

This is a great picnic spot for couples, parents and children or whole family groups. It is well maintained with flowers, duck ponds, mini-zoo with various birds and a children's play scape. Schools use the grounds for cross-country races and at Christmas time they have a Santa visit at the log cabin. All year round, the scenery and views are special.

I went the The Adventure Park at Storrs (this time!) with a 6th grade field trip at my school. As usual, the staff was wonderful and the facility was excellent. In particular, I found one staff member to go above and beyond to assist our students. He came to our element where I was attempting to have a student overcome his fear of a particular part and he not only came up to assist us, trying several different ways, he actually went across the element with the student so he could complete the course and be/feel successful. He did this with more than 1 student and really went above to help our kids! He is amazing!

Puzzle Theory is a Connecticut Escape Room. We thrust you and your group into a thematic and sometimes absurd story for 60 minutes! Explore the room, find clues, and solve all the riddles. Some of the puzzles are straightforward and simple. Some will require intense analytic skills and deductive reasoning. Communication and teamwork is extremely important. Solve everything within 60 minutes!
3 of us decided to try one of the rooms here Friday night. WE HAD A BLAST! We picked the room based on our group size of just the 3 of us. The puzzles were awesome- and Nick did a great job of explaining the procedure of the room to us. We should have asked for more hints, i think we would have made it out if we did...or we needed 15 more minutes! lol Even though we didn't make it out-we would definitely come again and try a different room.
Highly recommend this place!
Thanks NICK!

Whether shopping, dining, or strolling down the vibrant main street, The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk has quickly become South Windsor’s go-to lifestyle destination. With 374,000 SF of highly coveted retailers, restaurants, and amenities, it’s easy to see why. Shoppers have access to the best stores in the area and can relax in front of the cozy fire pit in the Village Green, enjoy concerts and events in Evergreen Walk Park, experience pet-friendly shopping, and take advantage of storefront parking. No matter what brings you to The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk, it is sure to please.
Great shopping mail with excellent high quality stores and restaurants. Great for everyone in the family. Parking in front of the stores, including Handicapped Parking, with additional parking lots behind the stores. Easy in and out shopping without the "maze" of most large shopping malls. Great restaurants with Burton's Grill, Ted's Montana Grill as two of my favorites. Outside music makes the area very relaxing and a joyful place to visit. Don;t forget to stop at Ben & Jerry's for an ice-cream treat!

Have been going to the Dairy Bar since I went to school there in the 1980's, and now next generation is attending. I have been accused of coming to visit the Dairy Bar, rather than my daughter. True test of ice cream IMHO is plain vanilla - if that is good, everything else should follow. And it is!!! Rich, creamy, smooth with delicious vanilla flavor - just decadent. Of course if you add some hot fudge and caramel, and whipped cream and a cherry - that is up to you ;) Often line is long, but moves pretty quickly - definitely worth the trip!

I visited Cassidy Hill for a wine tasting. Tastings are $7 to try 6 pre-selected wines, and it is an extra $3 to keep the glass. I visited with one other person, and there was a couple there when we arrived. The woman pouring the wines was attentive and shared information about most of the wines, while also engaging in some conversation. My favorite wine was the Catawba, which was a sweet white wine.

We stopped in to cold creek for a beer after dinner on a Friday night, and were extremely impressed! The atmosphere is adorable, the waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, and (most importantly!) the beers were excellent! What a great little hidden gem in rural Connecticut! We will be back for sure, and will look for their beers on tap at local restaurants as well! Well done! I highly recommend you stop in for a cold one!
