Channel Islands Parasail is the premier parasail operator based at the Harbor's Marine Emporium Landing. Guests launch right from the boat and into the clear blue skies, capturing views of the Southern California coastline that cannot be gotten any other way! Even greater than the physical lift of a parasail is the emotional lift that the serenity of soaring brings.

Capt. Dan is a Coast Guard licensed master and American Sailing Association instrutor. Sail with him for a few hours or up to several days, exploring the Channel Islands ... or take private lessons. We have two yachts, one economy and one luxury boat built in France and we are the only company offering sailing eco-tours of California's Channel Islands. Our islands are often described as the Galapagos of North American and abound in sea life from whales, to dolphins to fish that ride here on either a southern current or the northern one. Ashore, you will find a landscape mostly clear of humans and protected by the National Park Service and the Nature Conservancy. Human civilization dates back some 10,000 years here, but only a handful of caretakers live here now. Come with us and step back in history 200 years, step away from civilization.

A great beach for all who enjoy the sand. Food bathrooms and even a shower. Great pier. Fishing is encouraged. A massive open beach. Great for families. Lots of parking I highly recommend this location.

Citrus and avocado groves give way to beautiful mountain scenery.
Well marked, well traveled, not well known by the concierge at our hotel - I found this trail to be a delightful trek. I could find where I was easily, yet had expansive views of the valley, the foothills in the midst of this desert mountainous environment. The trail can connect to many others so plan your time accordingly. Find a map - not obvious where they are. I only made a part of this “loop” in 60 minutes, but that is all it will take for some.

Rated by Conde' Nast Traveler's readers as the #1 golf resort in California, this 18-hole resort course measures 6,235 yards with a U.S.G.A./slope rating of 70.20/122.
I come here twice a year to play this course. There are two distinct 9 hole loops at the Ojai Valley Inn. The front 9 is tight and travels in and out of oak ridges and the back 9 is a more open parkland style course. Challenging but not too long, it puts a premium on shot placement. Mark and Roland at the starter area are great and very knowledgeable about the course. A fine work by George Thomas. Top flight service and golf experience. Would highly recommend this course.
