I was born here, 100mtrs away of the main entrance, i played here as a kid, Knights and ladies, this place will speak to your imagination. Several times a year they have middle age weekends with actors, The first week of august is best time, all is party then. Go hunt ghosts , they were here, and they found them several. They serve Tea with a biscuite, and they will give you a tour if you ask for it. Google for Heerlijkheid Brederode!

Bunker Museum IJmuiden

Firstly you need to book a space in the tour in advance. I had some contact about that and they were very helpful. When we got there the tour was given by a guide which had lots of knowledge. He was able to answer all the questions we asked. He gave a lot of interesting information and explained it in a enthusiastic manner. It is possible to visit the bunkers without a guide or ticket, because the terrain is not locked. Only I would recommend the guide, because of all the information. Unfortunately the museum was closed do to Corona.
