Vejer de la Frontera is a Spanish hilltop town and municipality in the province of Cádiz, Andalusia, on the right bank of the river Barbate. The town of Vejer de la Frontera occupies a low hill overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar and surrounded by orchards and orange groves. It contains several ancient churches and convents, and the architecture of many of its houses recalls the period of Moorish rule, which lasted from 711 until the town was captured by Saint Ferdinand of Castile in 1248. Agriculture and fruit-farming are the chief industries; fighting bulls are also bred in the neighborhood and a running of the bulls is held annually.

We rented two e bikes for a day out and loved the bikes and the service so much that we came back and rented them again for the weekend! The guys were great and even leant us a bike back pack! They also gave us a map and showed us lots of routes, the cycle along the river was lovely. Really great tips! I would totally recommend, the bikes were excellent. Make sure to go for the e bikes to help you get up the hill from the beach :-) Looking forward to our next trip to Vejer to rent the bike again and do some more exploring! Thanks for everything, really made our trip! James

Center for Yoga, Meditation and Different Techniques to improve your well-being in Vejer de la Frontera ⭐ Cadiz
A wonderful, relaxed place full of light. Owner and teacher Roksolana makes you feel comfortable from the moment you enter the studio. After practising yoga for more then a year here, I would higly recomend trying a class. This is yoga at his best! Furthermore the studio is eco-friendly, even the yogamats are 100% organic. All very clean and well ventilated. Thank you Roksolana for making every class special. Un abrazo, Marie

The NMAC Foundation is a unique open air museum in Southern Spain. Contemporary art in perfect harmony with nature.
My 7th visit now. A great way to spend some time away from the beach - just €5 to walk the trail under the cool trees and see a good range of outdoor sculptures. Allow at least two hours for both sections and the indoor bunker buildings (the dog video and haman are great). The James Turrell is the best I've seen anywhere in the world - a definite highlight.

Personally it’s the best beach in the area. The sunsets are breathtaking and you can see them after spending the whole day surfing while you enjoy a live flamenco concert

It’s our favorite white town. Very close to the seaside and still on the hills. Lovely small roads open to this square which is the heart of town. Loved it.
