Vefsn local history museum is located in Sjogata 31 b in Mosjoen city centre. Look for a large, yellow two-storey warehouse on the Vefsna riverbank. In addition to the museums permanent "Town history" Exhibition we often offer exciting temporary exhibitions. From februar 2017 to april 2018 we show an exhibition about the local sami pioner Elsa Laula Renberg. Our quaint gift shop is also Worth the trip! Tickets: NOK 50. Children: free admission. In the summer our open air museum is open (weekdays 10-3am, weekend 11-3am). The open air museum consist of various farm buildings from the 1600s up until the end of the 1800s.
