Varna (Bulgarian: Варна, pronounced [ˈvarnɐ]) is the third largest city in Bulgaria and the largest city and seaside resort on the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Situated strategically in the Gulf of Varna, the city has been a major economic, social and cultural centre for almost three millennia. Varna, historically known as Odessos, grew from a Thracian seaside settlement to a major seaport on the Black Sea.

A great place to visit. Everyone will be admired by the beautiful creatures flying around you. An experienced guide will tell you about the structure and other features of life of butterflies. At any time you can become an eyewitness of the extraordinary mystery of nature - the exit of a butterfly from a cocoon. Also you can see some kinds of caterpillars and various pupae of butterflies. No one will remain indifferent. Photos for memory will make your visit to our butterfly house unforgettable.
My partner and I had a week in varna so we decided to check out the butterfly house. For starters the entomologist there was AMAZING. So friendly and knowledgeable. We were the only ones there so he took us through every species and explained every insect or animal that he had. He gave us so many facts and let us interact with everything. You can really tell how passionate he is about the insects and animals there and that made it so much better for us. We are both in our early 30s and had so much fun. This place is truly great for everyone of any age. Thank you again for everything!!

The collection here must be one of the best in the world for the pre Roman era. Everything is so beautifully curated and the layout fits the building. Follow the right route through the histories. I particularly liked the flint stone long blades. How were these made from the natural stone, amazing. Gold objects in burials are remarkable. Not to be missed on any visit to Varna. Super.

Extremely interesting place that is worth visiting if you are in Varna. The stones are natural geological formations, and are not made by human hands

If you love games and fun Amusment Park is a place that will offer you attractions and facilities to enjoy. The park is not only entertainment establishment, but a favorit place for recreation and entertainment of citizen and guests of Varna. They are 40 attractions for children between 2 and 18 + years old. Coffee shop, and a place for fast food. In the hard of Sea Park, just behind the Summer Hall.
Somewhere in-between a large carnival and a small amusement park, this is a great place to let your kids run off some energy. 30 leva (15 Euro) was enough to keep three kids entertained for nearly two hours with a wide variety of rides in close proximity. The money you put on your admission card is good for a year so you can easily return later in the day or the next day for more play. It's also nicely shaded and a very short walk to the beach.

Dolphinarium Varna is one of a kind attraction in Bulgaria. It is set amidst greenery in the northern part of the Varna Sea Garden with a wonderful sea view. It was opened on 11.08.1984 and is a symbol not only of Varna but also of the tourist attractions in Bulgaria. The Dolphinarium is a must in the programs of all tourists visiting the Bulgarian seaside.
