The north Indian city of Varanasi, or Benares, is regarded as sacred by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains. Situated in the fertile Ganga valley and on the banks of the Ganges, Varanasi is a place of pilgrimage for Hindus, who come to bathe in the holy river. Known as the City of Temples and a beacon of culture, Varanasi has produced many renowned writers. It’s also a center of silk weaving, so practice haggling at the chaotic bazaar for some beautiful souvenirs. Rickshaws are the best way to get about.

Manufacturing and selling handmade and only natural textiles like pure silk, wool and cashmere textiles last 30 years and my shop is highly recommended by many European and English language travel guide books from a long, long time.
We loved Himagauri We have been old customers, and ardent lovers of the quality products of Paras Lakshmi Exports since the last 25 years. We have been shopping silk sarees here from many years & I must say the quality is extra ordinary. Considering someone who loves sarees, my collection from their store stands out as the most unique & valuable one. Recently visited them again and loved their new brand Himagauri and the latest collection and shopped way too many.

Upon meeting BABA aka Ashul Sharma, it is easy to see why he is so loved and sought after in Varanasi for his guidance and wisdom as a vedic astrologer and powerful spiritual healer. He is completely authentic and not only that, quite funny. But, do not let his belly laugh and contagious smile fool you, this man is extremely gifted and has the ability to see and help ones that come in search of his services. Even as busy as he gets at times, he will always make sure that each client has the time needed to cover whatever is desired in each session. After my reading with Baba, we sat and talked and laughed. It was fun just to hang out on his meditation cushions be surrounded by images of gods and gurus. I cannot wait to go back to Varanasi and seeing Baba will be my first stop as not only is he my spiritual guide and helper, but also a friend with a heart of gold. Love you Baba!!

Thank to our guest who recommended us to these guide books Lonely planet, Le Routard, Trotamundos, How to rise, Stafen loose, Petit fute, Rough guide book etc. We have no other branch Englishia line office near railway station has closed from July 2017. Our outlet is working from Lalghat office.
Just entered this shop we felt immediately at home. The owner Krishna made us sit comfortably and asked us what we were curious to see offering us a cup of chai. We spent a lot of time there and it was a pleasure to see and feel his textiles and products, I wanted to buy everything! In this shop I didn’t feel the pressure to buy something, I felt very relaxed for the whole time and I could enjoy the moment. His tailors are real expert, they do your measurements and sew the products according to your needs. Considering we had to leave the next day we agreed on a delivery to the hotel, his tailors worked during the night to make this possible. The price are fixed and very fair considering they have really quality silk products. I would like to thank Krishna for his skills, kindness, friendliness and availability. Strongly recommended.
