The powdery sands of Varadero are as seductive as the soft lapping of the Kawama Channel waves. Famed gangster Al Capone used to frequent the shoreline resorts, and the city still maintains that glamorous luster that’s been historically appealing to high rollers. Mansions-turned-museums are favorite destinations for curious Cuban history buffs. Nature lovers can embark upon a day of adventure, exploring the area’s caves, keys, and virgin forests.

Cabaret & night club
We were looking for a cabaret show to go to but didn't feel like spending 4 hours on the road to Havana. This is right in Varadero. Only 10 minutes from our resort. The show was fabulous. Wow! Those costumes are absoutely stunning! There is singing which is also amazing. They greet you with a flute of champagne and there is a free drink of rum and coke. Unlike the Havana Tropicana show they do not charge for you to use your own camera to take pictures. This truly was a gem to find in Varadero. It's 40 pesos for just the show. The show it's self is a blend of the old Cuba and the new. It was very well put together. I plan on going again next year.

Great music, lively crowd, good service. What a great party for NYE! Highly recommend this night spot. Especially for ladies, there are so many great dancers. It was a lot of fun.

In the Sala de la Musica La Marina you will have an extensive program of activities where you can enjoy good live Cuban music, with latest technology in sound and lighting. In addition, you'll have exclusive disco nights with the best of national and international cocktails.

Great music, great atmosphere, very busy. Go on a Sunday. That's the best day. The dancing starts around midnight. Drinks are reasonably priced...VERY reasonably priced. This is a MUST if you enjoy a great night out.
