This was an EXCELLENT way of seeing the town and orientating yourself. Definitely not strenuous.It also gave us time to view more closely the attractions rather from inside a minivan.

Don’t go there. Just don’t. The price advertised on TripAdvisor is €120 whereas some of the people we flew with paid $80 in VangVieng! Takeoff from a wasteland full of trash in the middle of nowhere, 20 minutes flight over VV (not the prettiest sight by far unless you’re into power lines and hotel roofs) with barely any explanations and then bye. We learnt afterwards about the French company flying in the countryside next to the blue lagoons and we should have gone with them.

7. Vang Vieng Rock Climbing -Yai 1 day
Over the past three years, we have been working with climbers from all around the world to develop climbing in the Vang Vieng area. Two areas were developed with a total of 50 routes ranging from 5a to 8a+ (French). All the classic steep limestone jaggy stuff so. Climb and enjoy!
