My husband and I went with my parents and had a blast. The rides and shows were great. There were plenty of places to sit and rest (my mom had recently had a knee replacement, so she needed to sit regularly). The animals were fun to see as well. We will definitely go back next time we are in Tampa.

The leading canoe outfitter on the Hillsborough River offers trips anywhere from two hours to all day long.
Having grown up in Tampa I had a healthy fear of the Alligators on the Hillsborough River and always shied away from being in a canoe or kayak on the river. So glad, my husband challenged my fear and we headed out on Black Thursday for a kayak trip. The river was quiet on an overcast day. The outpost staff were super friendly and helpful. we will be back.

This is a private club but numerous membership categories available for all budgets. The course seems friendly, which it is, but the greens can be mystifying! They keep it in excellent condition year round. The clubhouse is not fancy .... It is friendly. There are always groups to join for a competitive round of golf - both men and women of all ages. We have excellent professional instructors including an LPGA pro. Kids are always welcome to use the facilities for practice and to learn the game! Food is good, there is s full bar and prices are very reasonable! Proud to be a member here!

Read the menu when you are in line, select your # to order by. Be ready to tell them your number. This is a fast make place. No time to be dreaming.
Orders are large. Very impressive place. There are lots of tables at the far end. Have fun.

Love this place, friendly staff and great obstacles. You need a CGA vest and they rent them out. Local riders are friendly also. There is a little bro system, I would recommend this for beginners. Nearly no waiting times.

We live near by the mall and avoid it, only going when absolutely necessary. Holidays and weekends are the worst times to go. The traffic patterns are horrible with cars lining up trying to get out. It can take 20 minutes just to get out.
The shops and restaurants are typical big mall stores you would find at any mall this size. It can be crowded at times. Dillard's, Macy's and JCPenney and Sears are the anchor stores but Sears is declining and don't expect it to stay in the coming years. PF Changs is a new addition for dining. Cheesecake Factory is good also.
Guess I'm just not a fan of malls.

Dinosaur World is a self guided outdoor museum with over 200 life size dinosaurs in a natural setting. Dig for fossils in the Fossil Dig, uncover a life size dinosaur skeleton replica from under the sand in the Boneyard, visit Exploration Cave for a guided tour with a Paleontologist and try your hand at trivia during the Triviasaurus Rex Game Show! Check out the museum with real artifacts and animatronic dinosaurs and our NEW Florida Fossils Museum! Pan for real gems and minerals at the Dino Gem Mine and CRACK YOUR OWN GEODE at the Geode Cracker!
Spent a few hours here while on our way from Orlando to the Tampa area. Our family loves all things dinosaurs so we were looking forward to visiting this park. Some of the statues and displays need a little work but overall it was a pleasant walk around to see the different dinosaurs in the natural landscapes. It's pretty well shaded thanks to some tall trees and the boardwalk meanders all over the park. We went to a paleontologist talk, which was neat and our kids did the fossil dig and each took home some shark teeth! The museum has lots of bones and fossils which was cool- their animatronic dinos are also in the museum. There are only 4, so it's a little underwhelming but kids will enjoy it! There's no food onsite, other than a couple of vending machines, but lots of picnic tables if you wanted to bring your own. Overall, if your kids like dinosaurs it's definitely worth a visit!

Meandering through a natural setting of 100-year-old oaks, stately pines and shimmering ponds, this 18-hole championship design has been consistently ranked among Florida's top 10 golf courses.
If you are expecting a championship course you are not going to find it here. But for the "average" golfer...not so bad. The course gets a bit rougher in the summer but today (November) the fairways were pretty good and the greens OK. Some of the greens had patches of blight but overall they were pretty fast. Most holes are pretty easy but number 9 and 18 will test your skills.
If you just want a day to play golf at a mid-range course, this course will do just fine. If you want to spend $120.00..play the Doral.

I was excited to checkout the new theater that just opened up near my house, so when the movie "Girls Trip" came out I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. I loved that I was able to pick my own seats. Initially I was concerned about not being able to see because someone was sitting in the row in front of me (short people problems lol) but the rep assured me that the way the seating is set up it wouldn't be a problem. When I walked into the theater I quickly found out how right she was and not only was I able to see but she forgot to mention how comfortable the seats were. They even recline back!!! I will definitely be making a trip back the next time there is a movie that catches my eye.

Don't expect fine dining here, it's all about the beer. Our party had a wine sampler flight, fish and chips, blackened grouper, conch fritters, and a chicken Cesar salad. The wine selection was just OK. The Jameson Steamboat Porter was excellent second only to Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale.
Service was a little spotty. Grouper was over cooked and had too much seasoning. Nice pub feeling in the decor.
Prices are just a wee bit on the dear side, but no reason not to visit.
