A 18 holes layout that has done much to enhance the growing reputation of architect Ramón Espinosa. It is a gem of a course located in a wide valley among mountains 6 km. away from the Mediterranean sea.

The course, designed by Blake Stirling and Marco Martín, offers the player a original course with five tees for each hole, with each green having its own personality. An 18-hole golf course, pair 72, of American design and Scottish layout that will be a challenge and a delight for all kinds of players. The hills integrated into the valley, the natural water courses and a small river that inter-connects five ponds, make these 18 holes a marvellous excuse to enjoy the open air and have fun together with other friends.
This course is set in an ideal location not far from Elche airport. The views are stunning and the staff are absolutely brilliant. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very friendly and welcoming. The course, whilst not the easiest to play for the first time, is always in excellent condition and provides a great challenge. Sitting outside on the sun terrace sipping a cold bear after a round, gives you a panoramic view of the golf course and an almost spiritual feeling of being at one with Nature.

The course is now in a stunning good condition. The restaurant is renewed to the highest standard with a good quality priced kitchen. The sea and golf views are worth to experience. the clubhouse now houses a chiropractor, a brand new fitness, Pilates and many other forms of health facilities. I have played this course more often but this change was really a revelation. It is not easy to walk this course but the buggies (you can drive them on the course) are ridicules cheap what is making it all a great opportunity to experience this.

Las Colinas boasts a 18-hole championship golf course, which has been recognised in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe 2014, by British magazine Golf World and was awarded as "Spain's Best Golf Course" category at the World Golf Awards in 2015 and 2016. The width of its fairways, the design of its extensive undulating greens and the numerous tees at each hole give the course great versatility, making it suitable for professional competitions while also offering any player, regardless of his or her level, a pleasant, enjoyable and affordable game. Designed by the renowned North American landscape architect, Cabell B. Robinson, the designer of internationally recognized golf courses such as La Reserva in Sotogrande, Finca Cortesín on Costa del Sol, Praia d'El Rey in Portugal and Royal Golf d'Evian in France. In addition to its exclusive design, the defining characteristic of Las Colinas golf course is that it adapts to the special contours of the terrain to naturally blend into the surroundings.
This really is something special. It is one of the more expensive courses in the area but there are deals to be had and you definitely get what you pay for. Brilliant layout in great condition and a fantastic clubhouse and pro shop. Always come here when we are in the area to treat ourselves.

I played in the Spanish Open Seniors (amateur) in Feb 2018 and at 2 handicap only just got in to the field of 100 as it was so oversubscribed so I could tell that the course must be extremely well regarded. As soon as I arrived I had that feeling that this was a pretty special course - and it really is. It is very tough off the back tees - with trouble both sides off all tees and the most, deepest and best placed bunkers I have ever seen. In Feb the fairways and greens weren't perfect but the layout itself is terrific with some really fabulous holes within yards of the beach and surf. So many different holes and so many memorable holes I would gladly play it over and over again - although my handicap would go up as it challenges every shot in the game. The service in the pro shop and clubhouse was first class and the practice facilities are what you would expect for a course that has hosted major tournaments (although the practice balls all need renewing - small point overall) Valencia is 30 mins away and as a city/golf break it is as good as it gets - I've done similar trips to Madrid, Prague, Bordeaux, Lisbon and this is up there with the best. Great experience and would play again tomorrow and recommend to anyone. Thanks to everyone at El Saler - I hope to come back.
