The Royal College Seminary of Corpus Christi, known as the Patriarch, is an institution founded in 1583 which had as its main mission to train priests according to the spirit and provisions of the Council of Trent, as stated the founder himself in San Juan de Ribera their constitutions, becoming the paradigm of the Counter-Reformation in Valencia. It was declared a National Monument in 1962.
