Welcome to “The Greatest Snow on Earth” – Utah’s paradise for all outdoor enthusiasts! As host of the 2002 Winter Olympics, Park City knows how to entertain winter fun seekers. Snowboarders and skiers head for miles of spectacular slopes with deep fluffy powder and breathtaking mountain views. The Olympic Park provides family-friendly ski programs, rides and shows. Alta, Sundance, Snowbird and Brighton are other popular destinations for cross country and Alpine skiers. Those alluring snowy slopes turn to rolling wildflower fields in the summer. Golfing, fishing, horseback riding and water sports replace chilly outdoor sports adventures. Corral the family, pack a picnic and catch one of the ski lifts for an afternoon of hiking or mountain biking along scenic trails. Head to Salt Lake City, where Temple Square hosts millions of visitors a year. Bryce Canyon and Arches National Park are famous for surreal landscapes from horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters to unusual rock formations and hundreds of natural sandstone arches. Closer to home, wander along the quaint main streets of mountain villages to browse, shop and enjoy lunch at an outdoor café. At the end of the day, head home for an outdoor barbecue and an evening of games. Home rentals blend privacy, space and comfort with the cost-saving advantage of eating some meals at home.

A dry, open area near Lake Bonneville known for car racing.
We drove from Salt Lake City to Wendover on I-80 and on that side of the road as you get towards Wendover there’s a rest area with a car park and here you can stop and walk out on the salt flats which is amazing. It’s like being on another planet. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful hike and views are wonderful.-- However: Ms. Karalis: I have recently moved to the area and I was taking my family for a hike at the Fifth Water Hot Springs Trail Head. There was no real parking in the lot. I scaled the area for any signs that said I could not park off the road, none seen. We left for our hike at 5:45 pm. I get back and we a parking ticket by ?? And no citation number. I actually though the ticket was a hoax since we could not even read who fined us. Monday I call Utah County Justice Department. They refuse to give me a court date. I then said I had pictures to prove I was well off the road and emergency vehicle could past us. I was upset and asked to talk to the Head Sheriff. Guess what. He didn’t call back. I was given the excuse that the rangers can’t afford signs, but that gives the sheriff department a right to rip people off? Thanks for reading, Shannon Boucher

We camped beside the geyser a few years ago. I'd been before and had never seen it do a real full eruption. But that night after dark, we heard it go off from our tent for at least 30 minutes--we fell asleep before it ended, so who knows how long it went on. It was pitch dark, so we couldn't see anything, but it was glorious falling asleep to that sound. Also, this situation on the Green River is idyllic. Anyone who says it's just rocks and river...well, that's a sad person.

It was AWESOME! So grateful for whoever came before we went today and cleaned up the place because from the reviews everyone said it was soo dirty and had so much trash. We were so ready to clean up the place but wow we were actually surprised it wasn’t as bad as we thought. The hot spring to your left is hmm maybe 95° it’s like a warm bath and really nice when it’s cold out! The second one without the deck is around 90° Luke warm almost with someee lil fishies! And the third with deck probably around 80-85° it also had the most fish! We went on a Tuesday after 12-4pm with the weather forecast saying “snow / rain” and there was only like 10 people spread amongst the two warmest! Super friendly and cool humans! We heard some people camp out but because it’s raining and the road is gravel and muddy we decided it wasn’t best for our Toyota Corolla. But there’s plenty of camp sites all around if you go on freecampsites.org! We will definitely be coming back anytime we are in Utah! PLEASE KEEP IT CLEAN!!!!! THANK YOU OWNERS FOR BEING SO AWESOME AND NOT CAPITALIZING OFF A BEAUTIFUL NATURAL CREATION!!

We had an awesome time here. We stayed for 2 hours and it was plenty of time to get all relaxed plus get fun photos! It was clean, and we were able to have turns in all the pools. Would highly recommend! The owner was very kind too.
