I recently visited this museum while on bicycle tour. Loved it so much I returned for a second look. Extremely well designed with a perfect balance between the local human culture/community and the technological aspects of the discovery and iron mining industry years. This is a real gem and I highly recommend.
2. Upper Peninsula Luge Club
The UP Luge Club's Lucy Hill is the only full-length Natural track luge run in the United States. US athletes train here before traveling to Europe to compete in the World Cup Luge Competitions. The public is welcome Friday 6-9 and Saturday 11-3 to learn to luge on our beginner luge track. Instruction, helmets and shoes fitted with "breaks" are provided.
