Back in the 80s when my brother-in-law was stationed in Germany, I used to visit and the army would provide buses for the military wives to visit this quaint spot. Back then, the father had just started this shop downtown in a small shop. I went back this summer and his son is all grown up, married and running the shop. It’s a wonderful experience of real Germany, Beyond the tourist traps. Prices are reasonable. I almost hate to let people know about it. I don’t want it to be spoiled but I do want them to stay in business.
