No words necessary for this one... I was for so long trying to visit this Castle and this citythat when I finally got there, I think I even cried ... it was super emotional for me, the only experience in the beautiful town. there is much to do there, apart from the obvious visit to the splendid castle of Neuschwanstein there is also another castle in front the Hohenschwangau Castle, a lake( Alpsee) where you can go cayaking, walk through the splendid forest, many restaurants, museum (Museum der bayerischen Konige), in short there are many things to entertain all the family. I know that I will repeat this adventure again I only stayed one day because I went by bus from Munich and had to return at the end of the afternoon

Curt's tours of Dachau have been called, "riveting" and "sobering". Dachau survivors themselves have honored him by taking his tours and he communicates the history of the camp and its horrors with comprehensive research and intimate detail. Your tour to Dachau is given with sensitivity and scholarship. Curt will lead you through original structures including the bunker, crematorium and gas chamber and help you experience Dachau through the eyes of the SS, the prisoners, the town people and the American liberators. Curt Milburn has completed course work offered by the Dachau Memorial Site and is a fully licensed and certified Dachau Guide. He is also a native of the US and has been touring in Munich for over ten years.
Inclusions: Tour Guide
Exclusions: An XXL Partner Ticket (€15,90). This includes a short train ride to Dachau and a 10-minute bus ride.
After taking Curts great city tour, I deceided to take his third reich tour as well. He was really able to communicate the depths of the third reich in a way that I had never expierenced before. The tour was augmented by the use of images and videos of the destruction of the second world war and the Hitler and other majior Nazis standing right where we stood. This tour was really able to give me an understanding of how the holocaust came about, something I had never really been able to wrap my head around. Curt took extra time giving us a custom made tour by leading us to different areas based on our specific interests. In addition, he shared stories from holocaust survivors he personally knows. I can only suggest Curts tour as it not only showed me the sights of this dark time, but also taught me a great deal!.

Alun is an awesome tour guide!...very friendly and knowledgeable. His perspective/insight of Dachau from its conception to its liberation was very informative...plenty of time to explore the museum and grounds,to reflect/process the tragedy of what happened there. Round trip transportation from Marienplatz was smooth!

Wonderful tour by a knowledgeable guide before the castle tour! He had obviously done his research and was able to add more, and more historically accurate, details. Lots of "fun" facts, too (I had no idea what BMW stood for or why the logo looks looks like it does. I do now!). He knows all the best spots for pictures and the best times to get them in before the next tour groups arrive. Skipping the line for the castle tour tickets was a real plus. Highly recommend!

Dachau is one of the most well preserved camps in all of Europe and a visit to a camp should be on every travelers itinerary. Dachau was the first camp set up in NAZI Germany, was the model for all other camps and was the only camp running for the entire 12 years of the Third Reich. This authorized full tour of the Dachau Memorial is a half day tour traveling via train from Munich at 9:30 and arriving back approximately 14:30. Your guide will not only explain in detail the horrors of the camp system but the plight of the various victims that suffered under this brutal system of murder and oppression, the rise of the NAZI party and many other events that took place throughout the 3rd Reich and World War 2. As we are a small independent company we go above and beyond to give our guests a memorable experience. Due to Covid-19 I have limited the group size to 6 guests as this is the maximum I'm aloud to guide through the museum.
Inclusions: Fully licensed professional guide, Public transport costs to and from the memorial site
Exclusions: Food and drinks, Gratuities

Drive with an airconditioned, comfortable coach from Munich and visit the famous and fabulous castles built by the fairytale King Ludwig II. These unique buildings in the midst of the Bavarian alpine landscape will definitely fascinate you. The first stop of our tour will take you to Schloss Linderhof, the smallest castle of the Bavarian king. It’s up to you to decide whether you choose to have a guided tour through the castle, have a walk around the beautifully landscaped grounds or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and get excited by the marvellous scenery. We will then continue our tour to Hohenschwangau. Our stay there will offer you ample time to both try out the famous Bavarian cuisine in a restaurant and visit the castle of Neuschwanstein as well. You can decide in the morning on departure in the coach whether you want to see one or both castles from the inside with a guided tour and accordingly buy the tickets from our tour guide in cash.
Inclusions: Air-conditioned vehicle, Parking Fees, Live-Guide englisch on the coach, organisation of the tickets for the castles (skip the line)
Exclusions: No food and beverage at the coach and restaurants., entrance fees for both castles (25 Euro/adult, 5 Euro/children until 18 years)), No hotel pickup
The drive was super smooth and the whole tour of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof was amazing and so beautiful. Despite how freezing cold it was, it was def worth freezing my fingers and toes lol. When we went, there was snow and it really felt like you stepped into the world of Narnia and felt like we were in a complete different realm. Our tour guide was super fun and experienced and her knowledge behind the history of the castles and Bavaria was super intersting and you just want to listen to everything she says. Loved it til the very end.

From other reviews I've read about this company, the clients consisted of small groups or families and all were very satisfied. If you happen to be a group of 8, think twice about using this tour company. We were crammed into a 9 seater Ford van with a make-shift sound system consisting of a speaker tied to the back of a headrest. Between the one speaker and the road noise from the van, any narrative given could barely be heard by anyone except for the 2 passengers in the front seat. The actual castle tours of Neuschwanstein and Linderhof were great (tours were conducted by castle staff), but we were all very disappointed in the transportation provided and the inability to hear any narrative. I gave a 3 star rating because the castles were worth the trip. It was the getting to and from them that was the issue.
