What to do and see in United States, United States: The Best Photography Tours

We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

This is a great opportunity to experience the Rockies from a local's perspective. Plus you'll walk away with incredible photos of you! Most of our favorite locations are located 30 min - 1 hour West or Southwest of Denver. The most beautiful spots are nested just in the foothills. Most of the locations are places that you likely wouldn't seek out on your own!

A life-long resident of Utah, along with photographing its splendor for over 30 years have given me great insight on technique, location, and timing. I know where to go and when. Photography is my passion, my love, my life. I'd love to share my enthusiasm for capturing mother nature's glory with you.

Learn about some of our Florida bird species from guides with a background in field biological research, a certified master naturalist, and experience in guiding birding tours and leading field trips for birding festivals for over a decade. We can provide tours for "listers" who would like to see as many species as possible, photographers who would like to take their time and get the best shot and the best angle possible, and all types of birders in between. Let us know your preference!

Peek-A-Boo Slot Canyon is a quiet, special place off the beaten path just outside of beautiful Kanab. The quiet serenity of beautiful colored Navajo Sandstone rocks that have taken millions of years to form will take your breath away and leave you wanting more.

Inclusions: Our drivers are knowledgeable of the area, and great off road drivers. We provide water and snacks on all tours.

Exclusions:

Whether you’re shooting for print or social media, capture brilliant images of scarlet cliffs, blue sky and muted desert flora on this small group photo tour of Red Rock Canyon and Death Valley, California. Your personal guide knows all the best viewpoints to capture landscapes and selfies, and can let you into the area’s secrets as well. Needless to say, your day includes door-to-door round-trip transfers.

I provide water, a snack bar and a backpack for each hiker. We'll hike in the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument on some the best trails in the Greater Palm Springs Area. I know these trails very well & the best viewpoints along the way to enjoy some of the most beautiful views of Palm Springs & far beyond. You'll see desert plants & cacti close up as we hike. You'll see from the desert valley floor below all the way up to beautiful nearby mountain peaks, while getting in some great exercise. I'll point out interesting landmarks along the way, like the very unique Bob Hope house, Mt San Gorgonio (the tallest mountain in So Cal), Indian Canyons & other points of interest. Depending on the time of year I've seen the endangered Peninsular Bighorn Sheep on this hike. They'll be lots of opportunities for taking beautiful scenic photos & I'll point out some of the best photo spots. Exclusions: Bring an electrolye drink if it's a warm/hot day to replace electolytes lost from sweat, Bring a salty snack if it's a warm/hot day to maintain sodium levels lost through sweating., Bring a hat, sunglasses & wear sunscreen., Wear shoes with a sturdy sole & good tread. I wear trail running shoes for example.

Chasing Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) ... We will pick you up at 10:30pm at your hotel in Fairbanks. If you do not stay at a hotel in Fairbanks, we may meet at the Walmart Parking Lot (537 Johansen Expy, Fairbanks, AK 99701). We are driving and chasing (exploring) the northern lights. You’re staying in a SUV (4x4, 4WD or AWD). Because of clients' safety we do not use a Van or Bus. In the winter we have to drive on the snow or iced roads or hills or mountains. With photography service. The Northern Lights can be viewed under the clouds. We try to explore and do our best to see the lights. We can’t promise to let you see the Northern Lights, which is the Mother Nature that we cannot control. We will do our best. We would not cancel due to lack of lights or cloudy skies. The weather always changes and other conditions may change. Because of the natural things involved we have a NO Refund policy.

Liz Legare Duren is a 10th generation Charlestonian and was an award-winning professional wedding photographer for 17 years. Her work would regularly be featured in Charleston Magazine and The Knot. In 2013 She combined her love of Charleston History with her talents as a portrait artist to create the only walking tour of the city with a photoshoot.
