Under new management since October 2010, we are a commercial vineyard producing award winning English Sparkling wine. Greyfriars was originally planted in 1989 and has been producing great grapes and wines for over 20 years. We took over in late 2010 with the aim of expanding the vineyard dramatically, producing stunning English sparkling wine and building a state of the art winery, cellar and tasting room. We are well on the way to that goal. We have planted over 30 acres of new vines, predominantly the three classical Champagne grape varieties; Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. This will enable us to create a small range of spectacular English sparkling wines reflecting the unique local soil conditions, climate and heritage of the Surrey North Downs. The Downs in southern England are blessed with similar geological and soil conditions to the Champagne region in France. At Greyfriars we have a clay/loam topsoil over several hundred feet of wonderful free draining Cretaceous chalk. The chalk was originally deposited over a hundred million years ago when this entire area was submerged under a tropical sea. The highest part of the estate offers splendid views towards the South Downs and east towards Guildford and beyond. In September 2013 we released the first wine made entirely by our own fair hands, a delicious sparkling rose, the first release of many. By the end of the decade we will be producing 100,000 bottles a year.

Winbirri Vineyards, award winning wines from Norfolk. This family run vineyard and winery is set in twenty five acres of beautiful Norfolk country side. With a new state of the art winery just completed all the wines are produced on site from grapes grown here at the vineyards.

A Welsh Vineyard offering a unique vineyard experience with the stunning backdrop of the Snowdonia National Park. First planted in 2012, the vineyard has grown each year to over 2 acres with 2000 vines with plans to plant a further 7000 vines over the next 2 years. Ballinteggart House is nestled in the beautiful orchard county of Armagh, come and see how Armagh Cider is made from 'blossom to bottle' on our farm where the Troughton family have been growing apples for over 100 years. Tasting Visits - 45 minutes While tasting our range of ciders, hear about the unique Armagh Bramley Apple, history of the house & company. Orchards can be enjoyed & a picture gallery will highlight the cider making process.
