Knidos

An ancient city in a beautiful place. Although from afar it seems pretty small but since you're in the site you realize how actually big for that time the city was. There's not much left of it but even the stones that still remain give an impression how well designed Knidos was. The harbour is something amazing. They used the natural bays and improved the safety for ships with walls both sides, west and east. There's also a lighthouse at the point, it's a bit of a walk but worthy every step. Gorgeous views from the path and from the hill.

Dilek National Park

Reviewed By 316myat - Chelmsford, United Kingdom

I didn’t have enough time to visit this park per se, but took a boat trip which sailEd along the coast of this national park , docking at 3 points or rather 3 coves that are not accessible by car . The hills were beautiful , seeing the trees looking lush along the slopes is really quite something. The coves we docked at ( crudely speaking ) enabled the tourist to jump into the crystal clear water and it was absolutely stunning , the view , the experience and the water !! The beaches at the coves we docked on were stone beaches , they weren’t sandy. But still a really good experience and I recommend you give it a try whether it be by boat or via going into the national park itself for the whole day.

We took the boat to the beach and the journey was great to experience nice and relaxing along the river. When we arrived we decided to walk to the end of the beach to visit the turtle sanctuary it was very interesting and worth visiting and making a donation. we walked back along the sandy beach and it was a very pleasant day out we returned via boat and arrived in the evening sun which was very nice. The beach has plently of facilities , showers changing huts etc and a cafe type place plently of sun loungers and nice warm sea! Overall it was a great day out!
