The Cathedral is amazing, and it's a very imponent building if you arrive at Tui from Portugal.
You can walk freely and even go on top of a defense tower that has a magnificient view.
The only issue I had was with the audio guide. Sometimes it was confusing and would explain things in one corner of the room and next thing the guide is talking about some thing on the oposite side.
Staff is really friendly.
Really worth the visit.

Tuitrans is a company located in Tui, one of the main starting points of the Portuguese route. It was set up in 2011 to offer luggage transport to pilgrims and walkers. We work on a continual basis to offer a better professional and safe service to our clients.
We were stressed about arranging transport for packs and luggage on the Camino Portuguese. So glad I found Tuitrans. Their service is superb and the prices are very fair. I used Whatsapp to communicate with them and confirm pickup and dropoff every day. We walked...MoreThank you for your trust and excellent recommendation. Tuitrans team.

This was highly recommended by the woman at the tourist office. I guess we are spoiled by national parks in the US, but this was really a small-scale park. The signage is terrible so finding the correct road to drive into the park itself was confusing. We did enjoy coming across some wild horses and enjoyed the views from the top. I guess if you want to hike for a day, it would be the ideal location, but for beautiful nature and grand sights/vistas, it was definitely less than we expected.

I stumbled upon this while walking the Camino de Santiago. Not long after crossing from Valenca to Tui, the Camino passed by this riverfront path. Curious, I followed this and to my surprise, found myself on a lovely wooden boardwalk (and at times asphalt) trail that hugged the riverside. The views across the river to the Portuguese countryside were spectacular as were the views of Old Town Tui rising up on the adjacent hillside. There were plenty of benches to sit and rest, children's play areas/parks and shaded areas.
