Tuitrans is a company located in Tui, one of the main starting points of the Portuguese route. It was set up in 2011 to offer luggage transport to pilgrims and walkers. We work on a continual basis to offer a better professional and safe service to our clients.
Tuitrans moved our two bags a total of 17 times over a 6 week period in September/October without the slightest hitch, from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. The bags were always at our next destination before we arrived there. I can tell you that at least a couple of the destinations were quite obscure and difficult to reach. This is a professional, reliable company that provides superb service. E-mails are returned promptly. The telephone is always answered. And one of the several languages they speak is English which is helpful to me as I speak no Spanish. Plus their rates are reasonable - and competitive. Wholeheartedly recommended!

This cathedral is well worth a food visit and unlike other monuments where you pay an entrance fee and simply get granted access, here you get a hand set with recordings to do your own self guided tour. Interesting mix of styles from different eras it was built over. Enjoyed it very much.

Nice pub in the center of Tui, between Galicia and Portugal, crowded with tourists, pilgrims and the warm local people. The cocktails are so goods and the waiter Mehdi was very nice to us. We had a lot of fun. See you soon!

The Paseo Fluvial is a well maintained Riverside walk alongside the River Minho and below the walls of the old town of Tui. Stop at Hermanns little cafe for a drink and to take in the views across the river into Portugal. Follow the walk to the walks of Tui and climb the steps up into the town.

Gives you a rare experience of just walking the border between two countries. The bridge is over the river Minho and gives a stunning view. You can pass it by car, bike or foot.
