Westben

Westben presents a season of wide ranging musical fare from Bach to Broadway, opera, choral, jazz, folk and world music. The custom-built 400-seat timber-frame Barn in Northumberland County is the main summer venue and from June to August the walls and doors roll away allowing music to waft over the surrounding meadow. In 2014, after a five year partnership with the Trent Hills Municipality, Westben moved its shoulder events and box office into the Clock Tower Cultural Centre in Campbellford which also has an intimate 100 seat performance venue. In 2018 Westben has reimagined itself from focussing on a 6 week summer festival to a year-round Centre of Connection and Creativity Through Music.

Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge

The Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge is open daily year round. Located within Ferris Provincial Park, is a great destination for an easy hike and picturesque views. This great, family-oriented, natural adventure hovers 30′ above the Ranney Gorge just south of the falls. As you make your way across the 300-foot-long bridge, you will feel it sway slightly below your feet.

Found this location On a recommendation by a friend. Took a hike through the park and went to a small Falls, returned and enjoyed a picnic near the water. Got to see some pleasure boats pass through the lift locks, which is an amazing process. Beautiful Fall day to enjoy some beautiful scenery.
