Khao Kob Cave

Reviewed By Mippson - Akersberga, Sweden

We did not know about this place, but our thai friends recommended it and took us there. Wow - it was a true adventure, amazing! To go by boat into this big cave was thrilling. We had a 13-year old boy with us and he was really enjoying it, even though we all thought it was a little bit scary when we entered the "dragon´s stomach". There you will have to lay flat down in the boat, which was quite uncomfortable - maybe not for people with back problem. The guide was very professional, and could speak English quite well. Would not recommend it to younger children since it can be quite scary, but truly recommend it to all of you feelning a little bit adventurous.

Morakot Cave (Emerald Cave)

So we are two generally happy people who booked a private tour to the cave. Cave was so cool and a fun thing to do, the whole tour including some snorkeling took us like 3,5 hrs. Upon arrival there were plenty of other tourist floating in a row like a band of pearls with their life jackets, being swum into the cave by a tour guide, which to us was hilarious. It looked really funny, but also smart way of getting asian tourists into a cave for a day of exploring despite the lack of swimming knowledge :) You gotta give Asians cred for their business savvyness. If you'd like the cave empty of people, come early in the morning, like always when you visit sightseeing places. And if you have a waterproof bag, bring it with you as there's a bit of land in the middle of the cave and a tiny beach where you can walk up on. We didn't and so that was a bummer. Enjoy Morakot Cave!

Sivalai Beach

Sivalai is an amazing place and resort. I can absolutely recommend this place. The food, the room and the friendly staff make it a good experience. The beach and water are very nice. Their thai cooking class was very god and fun. The massage is also very relaxing and has a good price. We lived in first row, which is absolutely a must when you live in Sivalai. The diving/snorkling trip to Kho Rok was also great and is highly recommended.

Cinta Garden

Reviewed By ditchthislife - Regina, Canada

We recently spent 5 nights in Trang and Cinta Garden was recommended by our hotel. Cinta Garden was a short 15 minute walk from the hotel. When we first arrived, it looked a bit dark (from the street we came in on) and I realized that the front of the market is the day market and the back of the market is the night market. It is a nice market with some more upscale clothing a lot of different food vendors along with a number of restaurants and bars. All of the food booths we stopped at were very good and we went back a number of times.
