Here at the Vegetarian Society Cookery School, nothing excites us more than bringing a humble vegetable to the table and elevating it to being the star of the show, the centrepiece worthy of everyone’s attention. From a whole range of international cuisines, to vegan classes and showing off the latest trends in the culinary world, nothing puts a smile on our face more than seeing you being delighted to try the delicious creations you get to produce…
A great introduction to cooking with Tofu. Lyn, our tutor gave a really comprehensive explanation of the different types and uses of tofu. She demonstrated cashew cream and a savoury pate with silken tofu then we were given a choice of dishes to make with block tofu. Sweet and sour tofu, Ramen, sticky kebabs and Thai red curry. All recipes were easy to follow and we all made delicious dishes. The course has given me the confidence to cook with tofu. I’d recommend the Vegetarian Society course to anyone who’s trying to cut down or cut out meat from their diet, or vegetarians who want to learn about tofu.

Attended the Authentic Italian course absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Covid precautions were excellent from temp checks before entering to numerous hand washing and sanitizer stations. The chef Rob was made the course really fun/ informative/ and passed on his vast knowledge to get us all producing a classic Italian meal. The sign of a good course is how quick the day went and it flew and left us all wanting to book further courses. The school as the most up to date equipment and both the helpers kept everything spotless in the kitchen. All in all a wonderful day

A beautiful Paint a Pot & family Art cafe based in Sale, Cheshire. Only 10 minutes away from Local attractions such as the Trafford Center, Lego Land, Sea Life, Chill Factore, Manchester City center amongst many others. A gorgeous and welcoming place to spend some quality time in our calm & creative environment, painting pots, clay workshops, getting baby hand & foot imprints whilst enjoying our gorgeous Mancoco coffee & beautifully baked cakes. Minikin also provide the BEST parties in town!
Minikin hosted my daughter’s 4th party recently and it was brilliant. 14 children aged 4 and under was daunting for me (!) but Minikin made everything run extremely smoothly. From stories to painting pots to decorating biscuits to party games, we had a brilliant time and the team couldn’t have been more lovely.

I visited The Altrincham Garrick yesterday to see an interesting play called “When the rain stops falling”. So very well acted. The special effects were brilliant. A very professional production. I am disabled and managed very well, using the lift to get to the bar. All staff were pleasant and helpful.

Purpose-built to tell powerful stories of over a century of conflict, IWM North makes full use of its extraordinary exhibition space to deliver a moving and immersive experience.
Set in Salford Quays the IWM North is a modern museum exhibiting different aspects and effects of war. During our visit the theme was "Less we Forget", showing exhibits and films of WW1. The museum was well laid out and provided a thought provoking experience for us all. Entrance is free and a pay car park is situated next to the museum. The museum includes a shop and a cafe. The displays are changed regularly so well worth repeated visits. It is staffed by volunteers who are very helpful and will answer any queries.

Visitors can experience the club's history and go behind the scenes with the Manchester United Museum and Stadium Tour. The Museum covers an unrivaled depth of history & the 80 minute guided Stadium Tour allows visitors walk in the footsteps of legends, calling at the players' dressing room, before walking out of the tunnel towards the hallowed turf. Visitors can take their seat in the Managers' chair in the dugout and imagine the roar of the crowd on a match day. Additionally, visitors can have a bite to eat at the Manchester United Red Cafe. Visitors from all over the world are welcome to Old Trafford, and audio guides, souvenir guides and guided tours are available in a range of languages. We're committed to giving the same great experience to all visitors, so the tour of Old Trafford is fully accessible to wheelchair users, and the Museum has a lift to allow access to all 3 floors. Whether you're a Manchester United fan or not, a visit to Old Trafford stadium is a day to remember.
