This is a very beautiful regional park where you can camp too during summertime. There is a lot to see and do here and it is a great escape from the city.

Whiting Ranch Wilderness Park was absolutely amazing. At the beginning of the trail it starts in a beautiful meadow area with rolling grassy knolls and the sight of deer hiding in the shadows. Then it’s up from there and since we went in the spring beautiful y’all yellow poppy plants sprout up and surround the path. The views are impeccable and it’s too pretty. Now towards the end of the hike you’ll reach these Canyons. We went off trail a bit and climbed up these sand/rock formations and wow the view up top those was insane. It’s in all a fairly difficult 8 mile or so hike (*the way we went) but definitely one of my favorite.
