Exeter's first zero waste provisions store, to make sustainable living a little easier.
So great to have shops with this initiative. The new one just opened in exeter is great too. Love the plant milks on tap and just a great way to help the planet. We should support these shops !!! :)

We will be opening for our 2021 Season on Thursday 24th June. We will initially be open from Thursday-Sunday plus Bank Holiday Mondays. The Museum is housed in one of a group of late 17th century buildings overlooking the beautiful Exe Estuary. Visitors can enjoy the furnished period rooms of the original Merchant’s House and the Sail Loft with displays giving a timeline of the town’s general history. Much of the Museum’s focus is on Topsham’s maritime history, with its role as a trade port and ship building centre. Exhibits also include unique historic river craft, local trades and organisations, wildlife of the Exe Estuary and memorabilia of the film star Vivien Leigh. And there is a superb Tea Room and lovely Tea Garden for cream teas, coffee and cakes, and ice cream. Market Gardens in Topsham and the surround area is our 2021 Exhibition.
Over the years I have been to Topsham Museum many times and taken a wide variety of friends. Some have known Topsham well, others never been here before. The Museum, which is entirely run by volunteers and free to visit, is a treasure trove of artifacts and has items of interest for everyone. It is quite small and well laid out so is easy to get around - and, after your visit don’t forget to sample a cream tea or a piece of cake (all home made) and look at the shop which has some lovely gifts

The wine cellar serves Pizzas and a range of excellent starters. It was our first visit and the staff (owner?) was incredibly helpful offering advice on the volume of food to order and giving us the opportunity to try the wines before choosing. The pizzas have that delicious thin base with plenty of varied toppings My recommendation for two people would be to have one of the platters, either meat or cheese, to share followed by the mixed salad and one pizza. We had a pizza each but it was really too much but it was helped by a bottle of red wine.

Bowling Green Marsh is on the east bank of the Exe Estuary, within easy walking distance of Topsham and our shop at Darts Farm. It's the main high tide roost for the north of the estuary and one of the best places to watch birds in south-west England. View large numbers of waterbirds at very close range in winter - black-tailed godwits and wigeons feed close to the hide.
Situated down a long narrow lane, only 2 disabled parking spaces nearby, closest parking is road parking a few hundred metres up the lane, new hide, large viewing windows overlooking tidal pools, super views of curlew, black tailed godwits, spoonbill, green sandpiper.

An Antiques Centre housed in a riverside warehouse on the quayside in the historic estuary port of Topsham in Devon. Sixty five dealers, trading an enormous range of Antique, Vintage & Retro items over 9000 square feet on 3 floors.
Lot of dealers, 3 floors lot to see and buy spent over an hour there just mooching around. One way system in place
