What a fun sunset cruise. Capt Tate is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and knows everything related to TI, cruising and entertaining his guests with great music and interesting stories. This is a "must do" while vacationing on Topsail Island.

Top Sail Island is a laid back beach community with lots and lots of uncrowded beach and a number of decent restaurants. You won't find amusement parks or other touristy stuff here, but if it's beach, food and relaxation that you crave, this is your place.

What a wonderful experience to go thru the tour and check out the turtles and hear the stories of where they came from and their rescue. Great for kids and adults as well..

Please note, if you are reading older reviews, the playground has all new equipment as of the beginning of November 2019! My family stopped here to let the kids run off steam before making our long journey home from the beach. We're glad we did! It is a great little playground with scenic views of the bay and the Surf City Bridge. The brand new play equipment is quite interesting, with a variety of climbing areas (sailing ship themed), spinners, spring dolphins, and so on. We love the spinning orb cage thing, and even us parents took a turn in it! There are clean, accessible bathrooms close by, picnic tables & a pavilion (I don't recall seeing grills), plenty of free parking, and even a cute little free library box! Stop here on your way in or out from your beach vacation as we did to let your kids stretch their legs, or as a diversion from the regular beach activities. Also, right nearby is the Surf City Bridge, with a separated walking area to take in the views of the bay.

Laid back friendly guy at the counter. The pier was clean and well maintained. Very family friendly for late nights fishing. Kids of all ages out with their families making memories.

Steeped in Island History and located on the south end of Topsail Island, this museum has it all; from Pirates to the threshold of modern space technology!! Exhibits include: Operation Bumblebee, Camp Davis, Women Air Force Service Pilots (WASP), Pirates, Island wonders, and an international shell collection you have to see to believe! Discover the interactive children's area and find your own sharks tooth in the outdoor fossil dig located behind the Talos missile display.
We heard this place was really good, however due to the Covid19 it was not open. I read all the reviews and were anxious to go. They actually launched missiles from this iconic point in Top Sail beach. Lots of history right here.

We met friends for drinks and this was the perfect place. Great beer and great service. No food, but they will give you ne menu for Coastal Wings who is next door and will deliver to your table. They had a good selection of craft beers including ciders and some sour beers. The room was big enough to keep your distance, and they have outdoor tables as well. Great place, will definitely come back.
