My name is Ikbal. I was born in Tanjung on the island of Malenge. As a native "Togianer", I know the Togians like my vest pocket. I used to work as a fisherman, later in an accommodation. Now I have my own boat and offer tours with it. I am very much looking forward to showing the natural beauty of our islands to travelers from all over the world. I am a retired doctor with passion for wildlife and concerned with their declining population (many extinct unknowingly). I decided to commit the rest of my life to save endangered / endemic species of Malenge Island--Togean Islands if resource available. Since 2014 my wife and I have done the followings: created trails for monitoring illegal logging / animal trapping and for tourist trekking--fee for our survival / project cost--built education center for local learning English and ecotourism.
