Captain Andrej P. Franceskovic, yacht master 3000 MCA, the owner of a Polar Star A.F. Company, gained his experience in working on hire boats, taxi boats, charter boats, and private boats and yachts on the Mediterranean Sea. During his, more than 25 years long career, he transported clients on luxury boats from Monaco, Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Portofino, Capri, Sardinia, Corsica, Sicily, Palma de Mallorca… For twelve years he worked as a villa manager and a captain of the 38m long yacht, owned by the famous actress Lisa Vanderpump and her husband Ken Todd. During that period, he met many popular actors and actresses, who were regular guests on their private boat. After an exceptionally rich career abroad, the captain returned to the Adriatic, where he established his own company, Polar Star, with headquarters in Tivat, with the desire to share his great experience and beauty of the Montenegrin shore with his clients.

Cultural Center Tivat is situated in the fortified summer house of Buca, which belonged to a family of nobleman Buca. There is a library, an atrium, a stage, as well as a museum and a gallery space within its premises.

The church was constructed in Gornja Lastva in the 15th century. This is one of the most beautiful and the most richly decorated temples in Tivat.
