The Free State of Thuringia (English: /θəˈrɪndʒiə/; German: Freistaat Thüringen, pronounced [ˈfʁaɪʃtaːt ˈtyːʁɪŋən]) is a federal state in central Germany. It has an area of 16,171 square kilometres (6,244 sq mi) and 2.29 million inhabitants, making it the sixth smallest by area and the fifth smallest by population of Germany's sixteen states. Most of Thuringia is within the watershed of the Saale, a left tributary of the Elbe. The capital is Erfurt.

We are looking forward to your visit! The Tatami sports and leisure pool is home to a large swimming pool with sports and non-swimmer's pools. The sauna area invites you to spend relaxing hours and with its Japanese style is a unique bath in our region. Directly next to the indoor pool is the outdoor pool. The indoor swimming pool offers you a lot of bathing pleasure. Over 400 m² of water surface are available to our visitors for sports, leisure and recreation. In addition to a 4-lane wide and 25 m long pool with a water temperature of 28°C, a non-swimmer's pool with bubble lounger, massage jets and neck shower at 32°C guarantees a pleasant stay in the water. Embedded in a far-eastern architecture and garden, a fantastically beautiful sauna facility awaits you. Even if you had so much stress during the day, after a sauna evening you will quickly feel relaxed and balanced again. Our sauna facilities include a total of four different saunas.
